(GHANA/ GERMAN) MANA MOBILITY

 




 

 

The Design and Technology Institute (DTI) has partnered with Mana Mobility to build and deliver the first Made-in-Ghana Electric Vehicles by the end of January 2023.

The collaboration has come up with the 3D-drawings and prototypes for the first Made-in-Ghana Electric Vehicle.

Ms Constance Swaniker, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DTI, announced this at the third National Precision Quality Conference in Accra.

The Conference was on the theme: “The Precision Quality Policy Framework: A Building Block for System Change and Industrial Transformation. ”

Mana Mobility seeks to design and manufacture affordable electric cars in Ghana by Ghana for Africa. It’s being led by a team led in part by Mr Peter Schwarzenbauer.

Faouzi Annajah, the founder of NamX and a Moroccan-French businessman, has co-created the world's first car that is powered by a patented removable hydrogen tank system.

The patented technology of NamX consists of a fixed hydrogen tank and six removable capsules.

NamX, which is set to be released in 2025, responds to rising demand for hydrogen and hybrid vehicles as the world shifts toward clean energy sources and decarbonization.

"NAMX is a collaborative project built with Europe's and Africa's best industrial and technical partners."
